red dot rd 1 kit with qd mount de Work in progress MC Black finish suited for MC Black finish suited for integration with modular camouflage equipment It is designed for shooters who want to increase their pistol's modularity without touching any internal components The QD mount included in the kit offers a choice between a high and a low position on the same body: the high position is compatible with ballistic masks and clears the sight line on modern carbines One trade off to keep in mind is that the open window of a red dot like this does not protect the lenses from rain or condensation as effectively as a sealed tube: in adverse weather it is worth checking the lens is clean before each use
